There are some words that put a smile on my face every time I use them. Foozle is one such word because it is simply fun to say.

Foozle is a verb which means: to manage or play awkwardly, or to bungle something up. I am the embodiment of this verb while engaged in sports like soccer where I'm required to run and think at the same time.

Foozle actually has German origins, from the word fusseln which means 'to work badly', and it seems to have entered the English parlance in the mid eighteen hundreds.

Though it's definitely not my area, a friend tells me that it is used to describe a bad shot in golf. Does that hold up?

If you know, comment to verify!

May you have fun using this word without enacting it,

Not in polite company.

But really, no, I don't believe one can have foozled another person. If you 'bungle someone up' I think there are better ways to say so!!

But is it a transitive verb? Can I (have I ever) foozled you?
